King Taste Restaurant was established in 2014 as a family oriented restaurant in Sri Lanka. situated at Katubedda in the heart of Moratuwa, a cosmopolitan populated diversity area, ranking from upper class to middle-class neighborhood surrounding. Its’ concept and utmost attempt is to give the original sensation of Sri Lankan / Asian cuisine to all walk of life.
Deshamanya Dr. Rohana Yakandawala is the founder and the owner of this inaugurated restaurant. He has started the “Textile / Garment” industry prior to King Taste authentic cuisine as a main venture into the business arena. He has excelled with confidence into many fields with the help of his academic qualifications which gained from many universities. As mentioned earlier he had started his career in small scale businessman advanced to”RdMd textile, RdMd trading (Pvt) Ltd. Ruth style (Pvt) Ltd. Etc...
He diversified his business to hospitality industry in the year 2014 by starting his very first restaurant called “King Taste (Pvt) Ltd” at Katubedda as a turning circle in his life to hospitality industry. The King Taste is a well-equipped “A” grade restaurant which approved by the Tourist Board , specialized in verity of high standard Sri Lankan, Indian Tai and Chinese palatable Dishes. It facilitates to fine dine to its’ customers a Star- Class ambiance with friendly and comfortable service to one who walks in to.
Today, we offer a stimulating atmosphere with lots of conversation pieces on the walls and serve excellent quality, fresh cooked meals. We are defined as a main stream casual dining restaurant with an integrated bar area that caters to the community and local businesses. We provide friendly, attentive service in a relaxed environment by staff and owners that truly enjoy their job.
